Child Safety Week is the Child Accident Prevention Trust’s annual safety campaign, raising awareness of serious childhood accidents and simple ways to keep children safe.
In 2019, Child Safety Week runs from 3 to 9 June with the theme Family life today: where’s the risk? We’re highlighting how often the very things that help make life more convenient for adults bring new risks for children.
New dangers include child-appealing washing capsules, digital distractions from our devices and button batteries that can kill when swallowed.
Thanks to the support of Building Safer Communities, we can provide free resources to help you run Child Safety Week activities and events, and promote safety messages to families in a fun and engaging way. See www.childsafetyweek.org.uk.
