Fife Cares operates within Fife Safer Communities Team, working with a range of public and third sector partners, including NHS, local authority housing, social work and local voluntary groups who submit referrals to the service. While the service is open to anyone living in Fife, its delivery acknowledges that areas with higher rates of deprivation experience high levels of unintentional harm and injuries.

Not For Play, Keep Them away launched in NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde Health Board (NHSGGC) area in July 2013. NHSGGC Health Improvement, Public Health leads on the programme and works closely with RoSPA, The Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow, Health Visiting Teams, Health Improvement Teams in HSCP’s and with families of young children.

Those visiting the Wellwynd Hub can try out therapeutic equipment to enable safety independence, community alarm and telecare equipment alongside other technology enabled care (TEC) solutions.
